Overview
Distributors need their own brand, project owners specify marking, and engineers need obsolete parts remade from drawings—standard catalog pages are not enough. Hebei Nuoan Pipeline Equipment offers OEM/ODM paths, but we start with manufacturability review so we do not promise what cannot be made economically.
What OEM vs ODM means here
- OEM — reproduce critical features from customer drawings or samples (dimensions, thread/facing, pressure class)
- ODM / private label — apply customer brand laser marks, stickers, or other agreed identification on qualified products
Process boundaries: Custom pipe fittings, flanges & valves OEM.
Inputs to prepare before kickoff
- Drawings (or clear multi-angle sample photos) and target standard
- Material, pressure class, expected annual volume or first-order quantity
- Marking location, content, and logo/font files
- Any extra certification or inspection needs for the destination market
Sample approval flow
Typical sequence: complete inputs → manufacturability and MOQ feedback → sample make → customer approval (dimensions/marking) → bulk scheduling. We do not treat bulk lead time as locked before sample approval. If revisions are needed, batch comments in one round to reduce re-sampling cost.
What moves price and lead time
Non-standard machining, many SKUs in small lots, complex marking, rush jobs, and third-party inspection all affect unit price and schedule. Sharing an annual volume range helps us judge whether dedicated tooling is justified.
IP and drawing confidentiality
Customer drawings are used only for quoting and production and are not shown to third parties. Ask for an NDA at first inquiry if required. Private-label artwork must be confirmed by the customer as non-infringing; we mark to the approved file.
If you only have an old part without drawings, you may ship a sample or provide detailed photos so we can assess reverse measurement (scope and cost quoted separately).
