Overview
Flange faces dented in handling, valve actuators arriving damp, missing shipping marks that trigger port questions—these become real cost for buyers. Hebei Nuoan Pipeline Equipment treats packing and logistics as part of delivery, not an afterthought after machining ends.
Three risks packing must address
- Physical damage — facing, threads, and thin-wall parts during loading
- Rust and moisture — oiling, desiccants, and sealing for ocean transit
- Identity errors — crate marks that do not match the packing list
Our common packing practices
We configure cushioning and reinforcement for sea/land moves and destination needs; use wooden crates or reinforced pallets when required; mark order number, size, and piece count on outer packs; and can provide loading photos and packing lists when contracted. Project color codes, QR marks, or bilingual marks should be written into the PO.
How logistics collaboration works
- Incoterms follow the contract (for example FOB / CIF)
- We can work with your nominated forwarder or recommend export channels
- When sailings are tight, we discuss split shipments or packing density early
Please include in the RFQ
Destination port, target sailing window, nominated forwarder if any, wood-packing quarantine needs, insurance, and whether last-mile delivery is required. Earlier information makes the shipping plan more stable.
Damage claims collaboration
If packing arrives damaged, photograph crates, marks, and contents at unloading, keep original packing, and notify us and the forwarder promptly. Liability follows Incoterms and insurance; we provide packing and loading records to speed assessment.
Call out fragile items (precision faces, etc.) in the RFQ so we can raise protection levels as a priced line.
